Editorial standards
Editorial policy.
Zachat is a monetized review publication. This page explains how our rankings are produced, how we stay independent, and how we make money - plainly, without the fine print.
Editorial independence
Placeholder - the editorial team will expand this. Our reviews and rankings are produced by an editorial reviewer, not a sales team. Vendors cannot review copy before it publishes, and no vendor relationship - paid or unpaid - changes where a product lands in a ranking.
How we rank
Ranking order is editorial: it follows the published testing methodology and the SupportScore that comes out of it, not payment. We test the tools teams actually shortlist, score them on the same criteria, and show our reasoning.
Advertising & affiliate disclosure
Some links to vendors on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission - at no extra cost to you. This is how independent review sites like ours stay free to read. Earning a commission never changes a ranking: the order follows our methodology, not what a vendor pays.
To be clear about what we are not claiming: we do run affiliate links and we do accept sponsored placements. What we do not do is sell ranking positions or let a payment move a product up the list.
Sponsored & featured placements
When a vendor pays for visibility, that placement is always labeled “Sponsored” or “Featured Partner” and set apart in its own slot, visually separated from the organic ranked list. A sponsored vendor is never given the #1 position because it paid. The label marks the paid slot; the rankings around it stay editorial.
Sourcing & accuracy
Placeholder. Claims about features, pricing, and integrations are based on hands-on testing and the vendor's public documentation at the time of writing. Software changes fast; where something is out of date, we update it.
Corrections & updates
